The writing was not great, the characters didn’t seem fully developed, the ending seemed like a last minute thoughtless attempt to wrap it all up. I noticed that I couldn’t see the reviews of other readers for this book on BOTM app. WebLol yeah I was also duped by the interesting-seeming premise into picking it, I expected it would have some spooky alchemist stuff and was very disappointed. It’s still the only book out of 49 I’ve given the “dislike” rating to on the BOTM app
