WebChromos is the second novel by Felipe Alfau, author of "Locos". Written in the 1940s, the author uses techniques which would be discovered later by writers like Pynchon and Flann O'Brien. Alfau here deals with the experiences of a group of "Americaniards" - Spaniards now living in New York City. Born in Barcelona, Alfau emigrated to the United States with his family at the age of fourteen. He lived in the United States for the remainder of his life. Alfau earned a living as a translator.
