WebAug 17, 2011 · I have adapted the T5 to my 239 flathead, made all the parts myself. Should be some pictures in my gallery. The shifter is around 6-7 inches closer to the seat, I am using the stock bench seat and made a shifter lever out of a Chev truck shifter and welded on to the T5 shift lever, closer to the seat but with the right shape is looks good. You will only have to have it cut to length and change the rear u joint to a adapting u joint for the ford rear end. I welded my old stick to the T5 shifter to save a few buck as well.
