WebApr 13, 2024 · As far as I understand, rotational kinetic energy should be inversely proportional to r 2 (so I'm guessing the answer would be that rotational KE would decrease by a factor of 4). However, I'm having trouble parsing that out mathematically. Here's how far I've been able to get: RATIONALE A: KE = ½Iω 2 I = ½ mr 2 ω = (v/r) Webif the object had a force of 1N on it and then you apply another force of 1N on it in direction opposite to it then the object will experience a balanced force. thus its motion will continue as it was without accelerating any further ( 6 votes) Show more... Web1 day ago · Location: Socorro, New Mexico. Researchers are developing taxidermy bird drones. It may become an unconventional approach to wildlife monitoring. [Mostafa Hassanalian, Mechanical engineering professor, New Mexico Tech] "We came up with this idea that we can use and re-engineer birds and dead birds and make them as a drone. Websource. Like potential energy, kinetic energy has two primary types: in this case, translational kinetic energy and rotational kinetic energy. The translational kinetic energy of an object is the amount of work it requires to take that object from its resting position to a required velocity, e.g., accelerating a parked car to 50 miles per hour. .
