I used a Mig welder and welded it up and ground it down. It turned out pretty nice. Shaving the drip rail is a nice subtle detail cleans up the lines on the car.

The inner roof and the outer roof. Also the outer roof has a beveled lip and I had to flatten it. Then I spot welded all along the 2 seams. Then grinded a nice flat surface to the edge.
