The Sig is much more consistent. On the range, I got an extra 50-75 fps over the remington brass with the same powder load. primer, depth etc., depending on the bullet.

WebMay 7, 2010 · I had some GFL brass in there and don't recal ever loading it before. It seems the interior volume is a bit less than other brands - on par with S&B. I typically load 26.5 Varget and the powder typically comes up to the mid-top of the shoulder. With the GFL brass, it actually overflowed a bit on all of them. If the flash holes were indeed too small I'd ream them out before I tossed a 3-gallon bucket full of brass in to the recycle can. Obviously the flash holes were large enough once. This If they were good the first time they are good to go.

WebJun 9, 2011 · Fiocchi brass is high quality in any caliber. In 7.62x39 Fiocchi would be my first choice over Federal and especially Remington. Normally Rem is GTG, but in 7.62x39 it has small primer pockets and everything else has large PP's. So it's a Pita. I am not a fan of Federal rifle brass. Their pistol brass is good however.
