WebNov 22, 2024 · Pretty sure the base rate for the Mohole is 50 metal and only 20 rare metals per day. If you have a lot of shuttles/universities/etc. that 20 is easily swallowed up after conversion into electronics. I see it more as a late-game thing to keep your game alive after you exhaust surface deposits, and as such I'm very glad it's there. #6
